Listed Building Consent was granted for the re-modelling of the existing Upper and Lower flats for a Montagu Square 5 Storeys Grade 2 Listed property, in Marylebone Portman Estate Conservation Area.
The refurbishment of the Lower Ground level followed after historical loading bearing walls were removed to space up the Open Plan Kitchen and Living Room. A similar approach was also carried out for the Upper Ground, General Arrangement with a lesser structural intervention.
The challenge of this development, yet, was also to severe a recently built Rear Extension, which in turn, such an opportunity allowed to design a new built Mews House in Bryanston Mews East.
The so remaining Rear Elevation had therefore to be re-build in tune and matching all those Listed Building features of the Montagu Square property.
