The 19th century Victorian terraced house, just outside Fulham and Hammersmith’s Conservation Area, Loft Conversion and Refurbishment consisted of two design approaches.
First, the existing Rear Extension and Patio were revised to favour an enlarged rear garden. Further design decisions included the open plan kitchen and living room, allowing the occupants to enjoy that mitigation between indoor and outdoor spaces.
The second design facet, was the incorporation of a successfully granted 40 m2 loft conversion, under Permitted Development Rights, within the house existing hip and gable roof for the required additional master bedroom and en-suite and the walk-in closet.
The modern and bespoke approach was implemented for all of the design elements, including the steel and glass spiral staircase, resulting in an elegant refurbishment, embedded with wow effect for the new five bedrooms future growing family home as requested by the Client.
